2019 Message from our CEO

Happy 2019 to you all! I am sure you can agree that January has started off with a bang! Gone are the days when you could ease into the year and things would take a week or two to get moving and into gear. December was a notably busy month, with many clients gearing up for the festive trading period and ensuring that stores were in top operating form to handle the volumes. We, were naturally on high alert, with all systems tested and ready - having performed routine pro-active maintenance and many failover checks ahead of this peak retail trade.

A key resolution of ours for 2019, is to ensure that we continuously improve our service levels and our service offering. We have a refreshed approach to our customer service, and will be embarking on an exciting project to ensure that we continue to keep service levels as high as possible. Look out for our customer survey and please do take the opportunity to provide us with your feedback and areas that you feel we can improve on - this is very important to us.

From an industry perspective, we are seeing a significant number of consumers starting to use mobile wallets and the correlating increase in payments made via bank provided mobile apps and applications such as FlickPay, Samsung Pay and Garmin Pay. Chat to us to get activated and enabled to accept contactless payments as well as QR payments such as  Masterpass.

We recently engaged the services of Deon Olivier. Deon has been an active member of the South African Loyalty Marketing community since 1999, with experience across a range of market verticals. He has joined Innervation to work closely with our clients, to conceptualise and refine their loyalty strategies, conduct domain studies and develop objectives for their propositions. In addition, he plays an active part in customer value proposition design, customer experience mapping, marketing development and related strategic and operational elements required to bring a loyalty programme to market and keep it relevant and engaging. We are excited to share our customer engagement service offering with you, having recently launched our enhanced gifting and loyalty service, together with our new insights capabilities, and we look forward to helping you engage and connect with your customers.
